The New Era of Lawn Bowls
Unless you have been in hiding you will have heard about the barefoot bowls revolution. This great game has changed the face of lawn bowls and bowls clubs all around Australia and Chermside is no different. So kick off your shoes and join the fun of barefoot bowls.
Only $10 per person and $5 for children (Under 5 or require the use of the foam bowls) to play, day or night. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This fee includes the use of all equipment required, basic instruction and allows for two hours playing time. Tuition by accredited coaches can be arranged however must be pre-booked.
Barefoot bowls is available 7 days a week, just as a casual game with mates or can be included as part of a function. All Barefoot Bowls must be booked in advance. Most groups play for about 2 hours but we hope you stick around and have a drink in our relaxed and friendly club.
